Makes sense, if this is the way they're behaving. She's nowhere near the media draw that she was a few years ago, and if the album's likely not to materialise for a while, I can't imagine any label not taking that into consideration. That and didn't Hole kind of totally fail to fulfill a fairly reasonable 5-album, 10-year contract?

Then again, she doesn't actually need a deal and an advance to make the album, which is what keeps most bands stuck dealing with The Industry.
