Barrymore has now stepped to the front on the battle against Proposition 8. Here's a clip of Barrymore speaking at this weekend's protest in the Sunset Junction neighborhood of Silver Lake in Los Angeles.
I died os second hand embarrassment at "NO ON PROP 8" X3.
It was like watching a channel 5 afternoon movie.
But good on her for getting out there unlike some others.....

This is a very touchy subject with me. Thats why I have not commented on it on the other threads in politics etc. Why? Cause they are using us as an issue. They being the govenrment and religion aligning up against the last of the minorities on a few basic rights.
Personally after what the Catloics and there Knights of Columus group did and the Mormons for putting so muchh into this effort and bringing people from out of state I think the Mromons and Catholics should be relabled a HATE GROUP.
Also everyone EMAIL ABC. Email about The View. They have been having Prop 8 discussions all week. Whoopi is doing good and Babs and Joy are pretty mum but Elisabeth is speading misinformation like "62 percent voted against it" today.
In fact so much misinformation was spewed by Elisabeth andSherri" Dumber then a born again" Sheppard
that GLAAD a gay watch dog group had to contact The View and Whoopi had to read a bullet point list of what misinformation they gave people this past Friday. Today Elisabeth kept saying 62 percent over and over not true.
Everyone email ABC and comment on The View and tell them to get there facts straight and try not to incite the gays. This is a sensitive issue. Even if I was not married this would still bother me alot.
Do the right thing contact your local legilsators etc. What the Mormons did was Unfair and Wrong.
Go Drew!!! She always has had such a good aura, not once did I ever say Eww Drew. I havent seen all her movies but do like what she has done as a public figure.
