This is going to be really hard to explain and I only noticed it in light of Ramon's ranting in this thread: you know how when a woman and man dance in that hugging position normally, the man's arms would normally be around the woman's arms? (does that makes sense to anyone?) Normally it'd be on account of the fact that men are taller and broader than women in most cases.
Well, if Ellen is a dude, that dancing picture isn't giving me much indication of it. There's no significant difference in their height, and if anything I'd say Ellen is the broader, and yet Portia is sort of enveloping her rather than the other way around, you know what I mean? It's a bit like when a guy and girl hold hands, the guy tends to lead (which, actually, Ellen does in the other photos). Pfft, anyway, I don't mean to analyse the tiny details but this thread made me notice these things, and I'm seeing conflicting signs in the half a second I spent studying each pic.
All I'm saying is that it's easy to make judgements based on appearances but, really, none of us know them. Basically, Ramon, as pretty much everyone else has said, you may consider yourself an expert on the subject of transgender/transsexuality or whichever of the countless labels you probably apply to yourself to help you sleep at night, but you can only really give your opinion on Ellen, and it is just that: opinion. That you think Ellen is a bloke inside, does not make it fact. And it really isn't your call, since you're not Ellen.
Anyway, those pictures are lovely and their outfits are great. Good on them.
