| no, 300,000 copies is too ambitious. maybe 100,000 copies. not because it will not be any good or that she has no talent. because it will be great and she does have loads of talent. but, mainstream pop artists do not sell albums like that unless it is someone like Miley Cyrus with tons of tween fans. and Court has also told a chunk of her fanbase to fuck off. with the internet, album sells have declined. and making records is the marketing tool for the tour. not the other way around like it was in 1992.
i mean. i am one of the few people i know who actually buy cds anymore. and i have to admit i mostly purchase music through itunes. i am not too proud of that either. |
