I am eighteen. I am an adult. Im sheltered but I read a lot and devote a lot of my knowledge and time to nutrional/weight issues so I think I would be more inclined to know about certain things than just morons who think they know it all cause theyre in the "real world" with their buddies. |

and nina, just because you are stick thin doesn't mean you are healthy. i am sure she used to starve herself and do all kinds of drugs and unhealthy things to keep her supermodel figure. just because she put on a few pounds doesn't mean she is huffing cheeseburgers. it may mean she ruined her metabolism while she was younger, and now whatever she puts in her mouth puts pounds on her. don't be such a twat. |

If you're in the model business, on one apple a day, of course your body is going to look different when you leave the business; starvation has a yo-yo effect, and for that she doesn't look particularly "fat". Take away the "lense adds 10 pounds" and I'm sure she looks "normal" in real life. |

i think she's a little on the tubby side, but she looks a fit tubby, and the outfit does nothing for her. she's still good looking. so basically i'm with the consensus.... except i have a serious problem with the ponytail. not a fan of ponytails.

my initial post was annoyance that salt implied women are curvy or anorexic. that a woman can't be thin without having an eating disorder. that's a really negative, defeatist outlook for any woman who wants to lose weight. |

| | | i read an interview with her in the paper last weekend where she was saying she enjoys the extra weight because she thinks that for older women, if they're too thin, it prematurely ages the face. we all know this is true i think. and she looks much younger than 39, imho.

| | | I don't think she's ever been supermodel skinny, she doesn't have the body-type for it. She looks muscular in this photo but the outfit is so unflattering I think it would add pounds to anyone - particularly those cut off tights |

Well your nutritional/weight obsession isn't going to save you if you happen to die in a car wreck.
When women have spent most of their adult lives obsessing over their weight (for their job of modeling or whatever reason) it is not uncommon or unreasonable for them to decide once they're a little older to live a little and enjoy food. |

?? this post = insane.
fat for a model does not equal fat. models are less than ideal bodyweight as a rule. thin does not mean less than ideal body weight it means on the lower side of ideal body weight.
anorexic is a disease state, adn i made no mention of anorexia,a dn u dont care who did. your initital post was without consideration of being height weight proportionate. saying that shes fat is ridiculous.
negative and defeatist would be SHES NOT THIN ENOUGH SHES A FUCKING COW when she is quite obviously of ideal body weight.
