here´s the problem with fucking Angelina Jolie. i remember being in Mexico City getting food at a super market, looking up and seeing a poster for Mr & Mrs Smith that was about 50 feet tall, it was gigantic- Brad and then Angelina standing there, white, tall, skinny, huge boobs- in her slutty dress with the gun- and then looking around me and seeing all these indigenous women who looked basically the opposite- it made me feel ill. and if you can´t get why that whole scene is fucked, i´m sorry.
ok, so how does she reconcile this kind of shit and her adoptions of third world babies and humanitarian work?

because they're children. She's an adult, hence able to make up her own mind, know what guns entail, and enjoy them responsibly. Perhaps she wants her kids to remain kids until they are old enough to understand guns and see them as something more than just a small thing that makes a big noise? Nothing wrong with that.

But every other kid in the world gets to see her huge glamorous movie poster with a big shiny gun as the focal point.

It's not a big issue to me personally, but if you're going to make a big deal about not wanting your kids to be exposed to guns it's a bit hypocritical.

However, given that there are quite a few tall, skinny, plastic (& even some with Causasian features) women in DF, it's not the biggest stretch possible - try harder! Anyway, you can't discredit Ange totally-she has been in some 'deeper' films, like A Mighty Heart, that are a lot more grounded in truth/reality, even based on it.

Having said that, this couple is definitely oversaturated, and so is the whole 'poor lonely Jen' - I really doubt she appreciates the pity the media seems to heap on her.

If you've notice about Brad Pitt, he molds into whatever the women he dates. He needs someone else to make him into the person he is, rather than himself. He becomes like male versions of them.

When he was with Juliette Lewis he was kind of wild and crazy with long hair and kind of scrubby just liker she was.

When he was with Gwyneth Paltrow he was blonde and snobby and boring like her.

When he was with Jennifer Aniston he was a clean cut fun classy guy like her.

And now he's with Angelina and SURPRISE! He loves to give to charity and feed poor people and talk about world issues and AIDS and adopt children. Just like her!!!!!

I think he looks up to the women that he dates, like they subconsciously teach him things. It's like he's climbing up a ladder on how to be the perfect person and every woman is a step. As far as Angelina goes, she sucks. I liked "Wanted" but that was because of James. I don't think she's a good actress cause in her movies, it's just HER being in a movie. She plays Angelina Jolie and she only does movies that relate to her. I think Maggie Smith once said that playing yourself or playing roles you see as yourself as bad because you're not really acting, you're just relating.
