To anybody who's read The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood...Do you think Angelina would make the perfect Xenia?

I just read it last year and automatically put her face to that character.

well i didn't say she was happy. nor did i say she was not fucked up. but if brad was happy with his marriage to aniston, than him and jewnose would still be married.

although ok, i guess most men would jump at the chance to fuck angelina. so negative points on her part there. using her looks for evil.

that all being said, a lot has changed since she was 28 til now. i'm pretty sure she's kind of a little more grown up. i doubt she'd do that to her kids, but i guess a little piece of me is not 100% on that.

i mean. i'd prefer her to be childless and a slutty bisexual still. but it seems these mini things have made her be a lil more normal.

Anyway whenever I hear people (still) get all mad at Angelina for breaking up that marriage I think of that snl Aniston hosted while wearing a "I <3 Brad Pitt" t-shirt. & from what I remember the opening skit w/ her was basically about his role in Fight Club. So even though she was hosting, it was all about him. I mean it's nothing big & obv not a reason to make a marriage unhappy, but I couldn't imagine being thrilled about being married to someone with that sort of focus on ME (I know it was a joke that she most likely didn't come up with. But. She agreed to it.) It kind of creeped me out. So b/c I overanalyze everything I wondered if it was at all a reflection of their marriage.

But Angelina has made a habit of breaking up marriages? That's pretty gross. Girl needs/needed help.

edit: ok, i realise you already acknoledged some of what i said in your post. and i agree, it isn't nice to flirt with/go after a married man (so angelina is in fact not totally innocent). but still, it kinda pisses me off that most people always blame the women, for seducing the men because of what jennia already pointed out.

Oh good. I never blamed her nor did I ever think she is/was a whore, but I did misread what ppl were saying. I thought someone said this was her 3rd ruined marriage, which I think would be a telling pattern. I guess I draw the line at 2. Thanks for clearing it up. The gossip forum makes me care.
& the amount of Billy bob's marriages only surprises me b/c it means he found 5 women to marry him.

she was previously married to Jonny Lee Miller. before thorton. but Miller was NOT married to anyone when they met. and they were extremely young when they got married. 20/21? something like that. they were married for four years though and i think that's pretty good actually.

thorton came, like right after miller and her divorced but again i state... 5 marriages, none happy.

I'm not BFF with Pitt or Aniston so i can't say, but I'm fairly sure they were on the outs when Angelina came around.

and sometimes you can't help what goes down.

Nobody said Brad was innocent or that Angelina is more to blame than he is.
The discussion was about her leaving (most likely for another married guy), so her sleaziness is more relevant than his at this time.

They are hollywood stars....they all mingle with and date each other, marry and then divorce soon thereafter. They're all idiots.
