LOL at that post of hers. I'll let her off, since she's 15, but I'm sure in a couple of years times she'll look back at that and shake her head. I used to think I was really clever and full of logic at 15 too, but then I grew up and realised I was (and still am, really) just a kid, and kids might as well never speak about anything important until they at least hit their 20s (possibly later?) b/c the amount of shite you take a stance on and then change your mind about is crazy. Man, if I'd spouted off my every view at 15, I'd be looking like an enormous idiot and hypocrite by now.

(ok, i exaggerate, but you know what I mean. it helps not to be so self-righteous about shit as a kid, b/c you just look stupid later)

But, whatever, apparently she doesn't "condole" smoking but has started with that anyway. I can only hope she doesn't get into drugs or she's going to fairly regret all that crap about "I could be putting worse into my body" and "look at my heritage, isn't it awesome that I'm not a cracked-out groupie whore?" etc etc.



Best thing she could do is shut up for a few years, quit posting pictures with "controversial" captions and attracting attention to herself, and leave all the sad case obsessors to it. Given that she's the 68418648666437th kid to have tried smoking or drinking as a teenager, I don't even know why this is of any surprise to anyone anyway. Why even bother responding to the criticism, her vices are nothing out of the ordinary?

Also, I think the caption on that polaroid is really quite dimwitted. But all kids seem to think they're rebs, and their parents are total losers/failures/disappointments, so it's no surprise. But still. Really, really dimwitted, given her history.

I don't mean to beat down on the girl, and, as I say, I know everyone thinks they're a total reb at 15, but she seems so impressed with herself that I can't help but feel embarrassed for her. She'll grow up though, as everyone does, and I hope she'll become the classy, good-natured woman her mother never was.

I think people are giving her hell for what a good bit of teens will and have already done: Experiement. The only difference w/ her is she is a product of two famous parents. I think the girl is trying to live a normal life as she possibly can, but in a tabloid, celebrity obsessed world she is fighting a crazy battle. At least she's not Lindsay Lohan.

She smoking cigarettes, not snorting cocaine or injecting heroin. Let her be a teenager.
