Well, maybe when she was flicking cigarette ashes around the Virgin Air waiting room, she accidentally ditched Kurt's ashes (they probably told her to get rid of her cigs and smoking utensils (lighter, portable ashtray/teddybear, etc.)...  I mean, a girl on that many pills in a plastic bag can get confused sometimes.

And I listened to the first two songs (well, 1 1/2). My confidence in the "new project" is kind of low.

Mostly, I am so unimpressed with the music. I did listen to all the songs on the site, more than once, just to be fair and hope that my animosity wasn't coloring my perception (I really used to love Hole, believe it or don't).
It reminds me of the scene in "Trainspotting" where Sickboy and Rentboy are out shooting people with the BB gun and Sickboy is giving his theory about how "you have it, and then you lose it forever". About how Lou Reed's new stuff is "alright"... "but in your heart, you know it's shite." Too true.

| i listened to the leaked demos again last nigth and still don't get anything from them. they are bland, and hole were not bland, even AS is mostly listenable.

Oh wow. Deja vu.
The best thing about AS was the Olivia artwork... and Queenie has NEVER looked that good in real life. (But then again, Olivia's Bettie Page things are always great and even though Bettie was a babe she wasn't that perfect, either).
But you have to actually BE a legend to have that sort of mythologized comic book art done and have it really resonate... a/k/a Bettie Page.
