She should have named it Clifford, after the big red dog. She's looking a lot rounder and older than I expected. Seems happy though, smiling that much must really hurt, so you'd have to really want to be doing it.

You may remember her for the brilliant pop-tune "Whole Again" released back in '98:

Unfortunately, she made the decision to leave popular girl group "Atomic Kitten" shortly afterwards, citing an ambition to "raise her kids" with Bryan from Westlife and then "make it as a solo artiste".

She did very well on both counts.

She's sort of like the British Britney but without Britney's levels of fame and talent. She was in a shitty girlband for a bit but no teenage girls liked her because she was going out with a guy from Westlife. And then she married him, and quit her band (she just did talky bits and couldn't sing anyway) and started breeding and was on talkshows and things talking about her domestic bliss and coming across like a middle aged woman.

And then her and husband split up and she went off the rails and advertised cheap supermarkets and took lots of drugs and has had public fights with her family and is constantly going into rehab and coming out and getting engaged and splitting up from various leechy men and basically selling any story to OK magazine and creating publicity stunts that only serve to make her look even more trashy and out of control than she already does.

this is harsh but I have never in my life seen a celebrity age as fast as she has (I guess they must spend a fair bit on products that improve their appearance). that photo was when she was 26?!?! she looks mid 30s.

Yes. She is a typical English chav that would normally be on the Jermany kyle show, but she's ended up with loads of money.

Poor kid being born into a family that aren't exactly well respected by the public.

Her ex Bryan McFadden is now dating Delta Goodrem and good on him.

i remember atomic kitten. and westlife. those has-beens used to be on the radio quite often. tragic how it all ends in drugs, scandals and unwanted babies, eh?

I just... she always seemed decent and down to earth and then suddenly she's prepared to whore out every aspect of her life, I guess because she has no career to speak of and a coke habit to feed. That whole sucking a guy's dick behind Tesco, being pregnant then miscarrying but not really because now the baby's fine and... I guess the whole OK! culture is horrid.

It's the exploitation of private issues and events that gets me most. Like most women who miscarry would probably grieve a bit and only talk to those close to them about their feelings, and have some dignity and self-respect... but then you get the Kerrys and Jordans who have the cameras filming them for their reality shows while they're being told their babies are dead. It's sort of distasteful, I think, although maybe I shouldn't condemn them for not handling things the way I think I would...

the thing is those types saw an oppertunity for fame and took it. no self respecting artist or person capable of making a living on the back of some talent they had, even if that was just being in a succesful pop act, would want the press getting the kind of access they have to jordan and kerry katona.

I mean, I'm sure there are loads of famous people embroiled in stuff as shocking as them but they have press agents to cover it up, they throw out hearsay and rumour and wrap it up with court gags and settlements so you can never quite get a version of events that convince you it happened. people like kerry katona realised that the scandal rags where always after scandal so provided access into all their problems and battles knowing that they could dominate the press.

I'm not saying she sucks of a guy behind tesco to make some money from OK but any problem she has is commented on ad nauseum, limited attempts to hide it are made and then you have the stream of interviews on the subject. (mostly on how they've "learned a lesson" and are a better person now to do any image damage control so they're still a commodity)
