You can never achieve that with a commonplace name. Just can't. Hence Tom Jones is Tom Jones, but Englebert Humperdinck can get by just as Englebert. Prince is Prince, but people don't often refer to "Michael".
Maybe something a bit Celtic-er? Brianh?
