Agreed. My History teacher taught her when they both lived in Halifax. Apparently she was hilarious then and would make all these faces and act really depressed if they were learning about Auschwitz or something but completely overjoyed if there was some Allied military victory. He said he would just crack up everytime he looked at her.

Those pictures are adorable, she has such a unique precocity about her beauty. I remember seeing her in Hard Candy and being amazed by her performance but wondering whether she would be able to make a name for herself in Hollywood, but apparently she has; she was fantastic in Juno! I hope she continues with some great follow-ups...

i've warmed up considerably to juno and i think ellen page is cute. but those pics remind me of avril and that whole fashion thing. so akward looking.

I was a little ambivalent at first about her, because she annoyed me a bit in ReGenesis (Canadian TV show, like CSI but with viruses)... but she's really matured and become a good actress. She's cute too, and has this unselfconscious look to her

i do find something kind of off-putting about her. i'd take her over the lindsay lohans of the world any day of the week but i'm not sure being a halfway decent actress and not a partyskank warrants this kind of hype. or at least it shouldn't.
