Heidi Montag: "I Started Sobbing Uncontrollaby. I Cried Myself To Sleep That Night."
Pop star Heidi Montag's debut single 'Higher,' reached #7 on the iTunes Top 10 pop chart, despite receiving negative responses from critics. Heidi told the press:
“I just started sobbing uncontrollably. I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out. I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me. I am just a 21-year-old from a small town in Colorado trying to follow her dreams.”

i was only laughing at how poor the video was shot. if she had hired an actual director and not her boyfriend it wouldn't have been so poorly received, I dont think.
The video is gone from youtube. Boo. I did find another "leaked" song of hers. They apparently do the Britney Spears deal where they overdub and overproduce it to shit so you can barely tell what her original voice sounds like.
not only is she taking the criticism/negative feedback too personally (criticism, which is inevitable for anyone who puts themself out there by sharing their music/whatever else with others) but shes just proven herself to be extremely vulnerable which will lead to a lot more criticism and negative feedback.
i mean even if she does feel that way, its natural and all, but putting it out there like that is fucking stupid. no ones going to be like 'oh god that poor colorada girl trying to follow her dreams'. if she thinks playing that card is going to work its not, people are always going to have something negative to say, and now that shes made herself look vulnerable, shes just made things even harder for herself..

I feel bad for her though. She's super dumb and seriously misguided. Spencer?! He's almost pantomime. The faces he pulls are just so over the top CREEPY!
