i think its pretty ridiculous how some people on here are trying to make excuses for this man. apparently he was a junkie, to the point where it broke up his family. im not trying to villanize the guy but he isnt a fucking saint either.
Nope, he was a junkie. An unlucky one but one nonetheless. I do sorta feel like chopped liver here, since I had a list going that was a bit longer than his by the time I checked into rehab and nobody even batted an eye. It certainly wasn't SHOCKING to anyone in the rehab biz like the media/talking head docs are making it out to be....when I turned over all of the meds I was on, which was way more than six but included many of the ones he was on, they just went "hmph...typical.."

I have to say one thing. I honestly didn't know that the combo of those meds, when taken in regular doses, would kill a person. I got most of my drugs from the same doctor and the same pharmacy and the computer never caught the interaction problems so I had no idea.

Here's a clue for the DEA: It's the internet, stupid. Those overseas bastards are STILL calling me daily to see if they can "meet my medical needs" and I've been sober for two years now!

or maybe he just really accidentally overdosed. i mean it is possible. unless michelle comes out and says "yeah he fucked things up by being a junkie" we'll never know. and she seems just a tad too classy to do so. so i'm choosing to think the best.

tho when i did see oxycontin my head said "red flag" right away. but that could be cuz i fucking hate oxys. hate hate hate.

but he was wonderful. and i wish him peace.

I completely believe that the od was an accident and since it was already confirmed by his autopsy, who cares what I believe anyways.

His being a junkie had no bearing on what kind of a guy he was, saint or sinner. Addiction is a very painful and tragic disease to which nobody is immune. There's not much else to say about that...unfortunately the symptoms cause everyone involved so much grief and pain that it brings on a lot of judgmentality and shame that other illnesses like cancer do not.

I feel so bad for his family. I wish his daughter and his ex-Michelle the best.
