I remember seeing that movie years ago, and remembered it just the other week, so I could buy it. Fuck that sucks. :/
He did look like a junkie, though, so I'm not really surprised.

i loved him in the Client. he was this little grunger & he was the only reason why i watched that movie when i was a kid

what hollywood does with young/child actors is just appauling. someone should speak louder about this issue.

I think the 'hollywood effect' is something which destroys lots of young people these days. We've been conditioned to expect so much and told that everything will come to us for free. The pressure is immense and people are trying to live up to certain standards way beyond their means. It's disgusting really and it's like there's an epidemic of it.
If we were all told from birth that it's ok to just be and not try and constantly outdo ourselves we'd be a lot better off. I think a lot of it has to do with being being raised properly, being instilled with good morals and having a good support network of people around you that care unconditonally and aren't out to gain anything from you.
You can tell when people are like ticking time bombs, waiting to press the self destruct button. It's so sad.

remeber johnathan brandis [seaquest] who hung himself at 27? (the magical 27) NO ONE knew he had personal problems. he was said to be very hard on himself, but no one knew that it was to the point of suicide.

I remember that it was awful. I can understand how sometimes it's just easier to have a smokescreen of being able to cope especially when you're in your 20s, faced finally with the harshness of real life and you really don't want to cause a fuss. Depression is common afterall but it shouldn't be left untreated to the point of suicide, I guess it's a double edged sword.
