I don't know about anyone else, but if I was employing someone who had a public hissy fit like that every time their work was criticised, I'd seriously be thinking about sacking them. Even if their work was amazing.
I looked at that Marc Jacobs page. LOFL at the insane pride in that hideous banner. LOFL in general, really. I'm sure
Courtney has gotten what she wanted in terms of content/images on her page, but the execution is sloppy as fuck. I could almost forgive the hideousness if it worked well at the user's end, but it plainly doesn't.
It blows my mind that this kid genuinely believes that s/he's the best shit ever. Lolla seemed to be the same during his period working for
Courtney. These guys don't learn, there's no space in the room for any ego other than
Courtney's. I guarantee that, in no more than a year's time, this arrogant, whinging little upstart will be gazing at the pavement outside wondering wtf happened.
I tell you one thing for sure: Brooke has taken a fair bit of flack for many things over the years, but the one thing she always took on board, even if she hasn't always been able to act upon it immediately or at all, was constructive criticism of this site. She's always acknowledged that there's room for improvement, and that's what distinguishes a good webmistress like her from this incompetent little fool.
