What would the holidays be without random musings about people in the public eye who you think may shuffle this mortal coil in the upcoming year? Who do you think may buy the farm in 2008?

My predictions so far:

Michael Barrymore - the man has been in car crash mode for the best part of a decade, I'm amazed he's still here.

Dame Vera Lynn - not a certainty, it's just that every year she pops up somewhere in the news and my reaction is "She's still alive? I thought she was dead".

Some octegenarian peripheral member of the royal family we never heard of, the only reason we'll be aware of them is that it's revealed they were on the Civil List by being an accident of birth

Robert Mugabe - there's been reports of his health failing, so fingers crossed.......

I was originally going to suggest Amy Winehouse and possibly Pete Doherty, but like Motley Crue, you could lock them in a room with a several cases of Jack Daniels and a couple kilos of smack and like cockroaches after a nuclear holocaust, they'd emerged dazed but very much still alive.

it wouldnt suprise me if britney completly burned out and overdosed.

Pete doherty is another possibility theres only so much smack a guy can do before his body gives out.

Amy winehouse is another possible drugs or suicide death for 2008.

David Crosby is pretty ill, I think he might go next year

Roger Moore, Andy Williams, Maureen O' Hara, Andy Griffith, Mel Brooks, Angela Lansbury, Jerry Lewis, Pope Benedict, BB King, the Queen, Ravi Shankar, Mickey Rooney, Bob Barker, Christopher Lee, Bob Dole, Richard Attenborough ......all these people that are like, 80 and over, and still alive..........at least ONE of them is gonna kick it in 2008
