Marilyn was far from sane. She had mental illness in her family, and in her own life, dealt with crippling depression. She was also a victim of child abuse.
Both were known for knockout figures, luminescent skin, gorgeous eyes, and fine acting. Why does it always have to come down to either/or?

this is not true, there was no mental illness in Marilyn's family, her grandfather went mad because of syphillis or some virus if I recall correctly, and her mother just had severe anxiety for a period of time and that was deemed crazy in the 30's and she was institutionalized and I guess that drove her mad but they were not mentally ill and Marilyn herself was never mentally ill.
