that's just the way Jim Davidson is I guess - he's a phobe of just about everything what a tit - he didn't even seem to give a shit that Brian was clearly quite upset.
That said, I can see where Davidson is coming from in that the main representations of gay men on TV are of camp exciteable slightly bawdy entertainers - but that isn't Downling's doing.
Davidson's probably only angry because they're getting all his jobs and making his brand of humour obsolete.
I don't watch the programme but I'd heard he'd made some sort of comment. He is known to be like that though, so ITV or whoever make the programme were just cashing in on that really. Brians response sounds quite funny though, God love him.
