According to ContactMusic.com, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman Josh Homme has struck the latest blow in his battle with Sharon Osbourne — dubbing her a musical nobody. The rift began when Homme accused Sharon and her husband Ozzy Osbourne of treating bands like "shit" at their annual Ozzfest festival. Sharon hit back saying she hoped Homme "gets syphilis and dies." Now Homme says, "I don't know what she is or what she's done. Has she ever made any music? No. I don't know why her name is Sharon. She ain't sharin' anything."

In a recent interview with KTVU.com, Homme offered the following his opinion on this year's "free" Ozzfest: "You'll pay, and there will be only one person who will make any dough. And with the music industry the way it is with downloading, to ask artists to play for free … I might as well skip through the English countryside with a flute. One of the things about my generation is that there's this punk rock guilt where people don't know what they're worth and they're embarrassed to ask for anything for what they do. And that's something that we need to get over. I don't need to be the Sultan of Brunei, but at the same time, would you get your hand out of my crotchpouch please?"

He added, "The question is, do I actually care if Sharon likes me? And the answer is no. It's sort of like, 'Hitler doesn't like you.' Big deal. What's she going to do, breathe on me? The people that I've had troubles with are RANCID, THE DWARVES and Sharon Osbourne. I definitely feel OK about it all."

He's not, he played the festival once, and got fed up.
They asked QOTSA to play again and he said no.
He mentioned it in an interview, Sharon didn't like it, and now this.

I have to agree with Josh here, if they get the bands for free, why "charge" the fans?

Getting the tickets online required a passcode, which meant buying Ozzy's nearly good new record "Black Rain" or going to sponsor sites like Monster Energy Drink or Hustler Lingerie and buying some of their stuff. On top of that, Live Nation is slapping fans with $25 to $35 parking fee, which is almost the usual price of a ticket. There also are some packages in the $300 range if you want to be part of the privileged Ozzfest VIPs.

The semi-free ticket means fans get a lineup of bands that mostly agreed to play Ozzfest for nothing. That translates into a major promotion for a band like Lamb of God into the No. 2 spot and pumped-up mainstage status for the likes of Static-X and Lordi.

What Sharon said about him is very sick and un-called for.

I really appreciate him standing up against this. I've never liked Sharon. I find her annoying, overly into herself and quite frankly a little dumb. Josh had a legitimate argument that he expressed eloquently and her response was immature, childish and almost laughable. Her response ever legitimatised what he was saying even more.

Thats possibly the second most favourite thing he's said. The first being calling courtney love a troll.

Josh is fucking amazing, he seems really witty a lot of the time too.

Yeah, but I still like how Sharon resigned as SP manager. She said it was due to illness because Billy Corgan made her sick.
