It seems that no one genuinely cared for her as a child but how can soemone not care and love such a beautiful creature? I think that lack of love affecter her all her life.

I'm reading the book Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates, it's about MM's life. It's a fiction though, but she hasn't changed the names or the names of the places she lived, etc.
I recommend it.
