COURTNEY LOVE is one of the most infamous caners in music history.

The rocker was taking hard drugs before AMY DECLINEHOUSE was born.

And she knew her way around Rehab before Amy had even considered turning the subject into a hit song.

The two wild women met as Amy toured the States in March.

And now Courtney has sensationally claimed that Amy does more drugs than any of her previous party buddies.

That’s rather worrying when you consider she was married to KURT COBAIN — the drug-addled NIRVANA frontman who killed himself in 1994.

Courtney revealed: “Amy does more drugs than anyone I’ve known.”

As well as wild nights with her rock star lovers, Courtney is also familiar with the habits of some of the new generation of cocaine hoovers.

She was overheard telling a pal: “I’ve been with lots of people when they’ve taken coke, including stars like LINDSAY LOHAN and KATE MOSS.

“But I’ve never seen anyone take as much coke as Amy. Even I wasn’t that bad.”

Courtney also supported the claims that Amy “speedballs” — taking a deadly mix of cocaine and heroin.
Courtney and Kurt were dubbed “the new SID and NANCY” in the Nineties, but Amy and husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL are the latest to take that dubious title.

And I can reveal that the decline of Declinehouse has been a rapid one.

Amy suffered a massive drug overdose last month after taking a cocktail of booze and drugs including heroin and cocaine. But she has promised pals she only took heroin for the first time less than SIX MONTHS ago.

Amy hoped this would reassure loved ones that her problem is not out of control.

But pals are terrified about the speed with which she has plunged into her deep drug despair — and are worried about how much worse things can get.

A pal said: “Amy thought the short length of time she has been using is a positive thing — but we’re not so sure.

“In six months she has become a completely different person to the one we knew before. What could another six do to her?

“And it didn’t escape our attention that the time she said she first tried the drug was around the time she was rekindling her relationship with Blake.”

Amy’s dad Mitch also insists her fall into hard drugs has been a recent one.

It was not long ago she was critical of drugs in the music industry.

He said: “She was quite scathing about other acts that dealt with hard drugs like heroin and cocaine.

“The descent into harder drugs has only been apparent in the last three or four months.”

Amy and Blake are due back in London this weekend after quitting their holiday in St Lucia earlier than planned.

I do hope Declinehouse has fallen as far as she can go so she realises the scale of her problem and sorts herself out.

Somehow, I’m not so sure.
