Britney Spears' former bodyguard/manny Daimon Shippen was served two subpoenas by Kevin Federline's lawyer last night to testify in their ongoing custody case. If you don't remember, Daimon is the guy who caught Sean Preston when Britney Spears tripped and almost dropped him. So yeah, I doubt he'll have anything good to say about Britney's parenting skills. He'll take the stand and try to make Britney look good, but that's impossible so he'll just start babbling randomly instead. "She, uh, she never stabbed her kids. Definitely never stabbed them. And, uh, she never -- no wait, she did that one. She, uh, she used one as a soccer ball once. Shit! No, wait. Can I start over?"

Now on THIS, I get a little annoyed....and this is where I do feel sympathy/empathy for Britney. I can't imagine how she felt when she did trip and almost drop her son and it's shown all over tv and the Internet with comments about her bad parenting, as if she made a bad parenting decision. She tripped! Thankfully the bodyguard caught her son. But it's not like she did it on purpose or made the decision to trip, or neglected to somehow walk properly. It could happen to anyone and was truly an accident, UNLIKE not buckling your kids into their car seats, leaving them in hot locked cars, feeding them crap foods and not taking care of their teeth. So on this one Britney deserves a break.

I'm on Britney's side to some extent here just because Kevin Federline is not scrutinized the way she is with the kids. He's not out with them as much so he's not caught in these moments. Also, he's simply not as hounded as Britney is by the paprazzi and another thing he's probably not rattled as much by the paprazzi either. I can totally see how Britney is harassed by these paparazzi relentlessly and how it would get on your nerves, you can't have a bad day like normal people without it being scrutinized, made fun of, etc. If I was followed relentlessly and filmed at all times, you could take 5 seconds of my life and show it out of context and use it all kinds of ways to make me look bad. You would never catch one instant of me not caring for my kid properly- carseats, etc. But you would see me cry, or irritated, or whatever and if those little moments are ALL the press would focus on it would look nuts.

You just know with Britney, who is an admittedly easy target, they are waiting around like sharks for the bad money shots. She's stupid, she keeps giving it to them. If she would just control the things she can control and keep her crotch properly underweared, wear more flattering clothing and better hair extensions, she'd have a bit better of a time at any rate. She's foolish for giving them so much to work with, but if only one thing should not be used against her it's this moment when she tripped. Grrrrrrrrr!

Rant over...I don't know why I had so much to say about that but it's just that every time I turn on the tv the news anchors are salivating that Kevin might take Britney's kids away because she's so bad. If Britney gets to keep her kids the media doesn't find that nearly as intersting but they are really looking forward to crowing when she loses them, it's sick.

Had to comment about the "almost dropping the baby" incident.....
She was walking towards a bunch of papz who wanted a pic, not her fault.
BUT her body guard was walking BEHIND her, with empty hands, while she had a drink in one hand, and her baby on the other hip, supported by only one hand.
When she stepped on a big ass pebble and almost dropped him, she blamed the papz.
I'm sorry, but if you see a herd of photographers standing there, and you know they get pushy (as she later claimed) don't hold a drink AND your son!
Hand one of the two off to your body guard, it's a s simple as that.
That alone doesn't make her a bad mother at all, but if you add it to her other bad calls concerning the kids, you get a pattern.

Britney Spears' old nannies are coming forward with stories about Britney, and apparently before Jayden was born, Britney would regularly ask one of her nannies to sleep in the same bed as her and Sean. Additionally, Britney would also drink around her kids and strip down in front of staff and nannies. A former staffer tells Us:

“At first, the drinks would help her loosen up and not be so angry. But she’d inevitably drink too much and be out of it, at which point the nannies would take care of the kids.�And multiple sources confirm Spears’ exhibitionist streak: “She’ll strip down in front of staff, nannies, whomever,� says one. “She’ll ask, ‘Do I look sexy? Do I look pretty?’ She’s extremely insecure.�As former caretakers tell Us, being on the Spears payroll requires much more than childcare experience. "She just cares about whether they're young and fun and like to drink and party," says a source: “She hires people to be her friends.�

It was funny at first, but now I actually feel sorry for her. If she hadn't made $100 gazillion when she was younger, she'd probably be stripping or in porn right now. Which sounds funny, but, well, yeah I guess that is kind of funny. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah, yesterday I had ice cream!
