Also, Nancy's death was never given the investigation it deserved. Later, Sid would say he actually didn't remember what happened that night and that he awoke covered in blood. There were alot of unsavory characters in and out of their room that night. Obviously now, no one will never know what happened. There was a really good interview with Rockets Redglare (see RR appreciation thread I put up in the on screen forum) about what he thinks happened that night. I'll see if I can find it. |
I do get it it's just that she's made of air. She is a groupie and that's where it ends. There is no purpose to her life except drugs. She got notoriety for being Sid's lover but that's where it ends.
She had no career or valuable contribution to rock and roll. Her fame stems from her death just like Anna Nicole Smith but they don't really have a legacy.
It's not like Marilyn Monroe for instance, who even though her death plays a big part of her myth, she left a big body of work.
