She was murdered, and medication wouldn't have radically altered her personality, her taste in men, or her fame-seeking hanger-on tendencies.

Yes, I've read it in the Courtney bio too, as I said before. I don't remember if it was Melissa Rossi's or the other one, though...

interesting book, sad, i've read it a few times. i am very fascinated with nancy, i don't relate to her at all, but her life was so tragic.
I agree. I really disliked Deborah Spungeon when i read that book and im not a huge fan of Nancy but i just thought she was so self depricating and dramatic. She had a problem child. Big deal. Many people do. Of course its sad that her daughter died the way she did, but really i dont see why she had to blame everything from her affair, her husband, every doctor in the world etc.

yeah, I guess I should have specified that it was "rumoured" that some of the cast went there to shoot up.
I believe it though. I know I saw it in CLove's bio, but also somewhere else.... I cant quite recall...??? *ponders*

yes, i agree. she plays a total martyr in her book. I mean I kind of feel for her, but mostly not. As you have said, its like she blamed everything that went wrong in her life on Nancy. That is just too fucked up.
