Yeah, I agree. Usually when I think of someone who is pretty I think of Tyra Banks rather than like Paris Hilton or someone. I think she looks great... It just looks better when someone is shapely.

The Japanese girls in those pictures look kind of scary and alien like and just... it's really not attractive. The one who won the Miss Universe is a lot prettier.
I don't understand why out here in America the whole being pale and sickly is attractive either. It's gross and ugly. Why would you want to look like a wax doll of a starving child or some alien elf creature?

i was rooting for miss japan when i watched it the other night. she was adorable. so was miss korea... she looked like an anime character.

I do have to disagree with you on the "pale isn't attractive" part. I'm a redhead with very fair skin (besides the freckles, sorta Nicole Kidman pale) so I actually find tans (not naturally dark skinned people like people of African or Greek etc descent, that's different) unattractive. The idea that someone would deliberately burn their skin, which will cause wrinkles and cancer in later life, is gross & ugly to me. Why would you want to look like a wrinkled old handbag?
But each to their own, I guess.
