How come George Michael gets 2 year driving ban & 100 days community service yet Pete Docherty had to do time - Is it simply due to the class of drugs they were caught with or is the some hierarchy where some people dont need to do time.

i misread what you wrote. i thought you were saying it's not really fair when doherty keeps getting off of charges when george michael gets charged for being stoned. but alas, doherty is a junkie, and george michael is just a bit of a stoner. so yeah, guess it is simply due to the drugs they were caught with.

in my opinion, doherty should be send to lockdown rehab. he doesn't seem to be able to stay clean... and yet he goes to court over drug charges, who do absolutely nothing to him, every couple of months. he seriously needs to be sent somewhere for his own good.
