I don't agree with Elizabeth Hasselbacks views on that subject. But I do see why she freaked out. Rosie asks her a question and then can't let her answer the way she sees fit. Rosie seems to be able to dish it out but half the time she can't seem to handle the backlash of doing so.

They are both annoying and The View sucks. Sorry, just my opinion.

Oh I love the View. I always have, but Rosie as a mod has made it must see TV for me. I'd be pissed if I was Rosie too. Elizabeth is afraid of alienating her friends at Fox byadmitting that they constantly misconstrue Rosie's words. I don't think Rosie pulled any "low blows" by calling Elizabeth out on it. Why should she pretend things are peachy between them? Rosie didn't play the gay card, either- she was quoting what her detractors always say to degrade her. They always bring up that shes fat and thats shes a lesbian. On the other hand, by mentioning Donald Trump, Elizabeth completely went out of bounds. Elizabeth has becomes the pinup for young Republicans everywhere and shes afraid of jeopardizing that standing by blatantly sticking up for Rosie.

This post makes it sound like I care alot more than I do. Like I said though, I watch it everyday, so I see and hear the interactions between the two and formed an opinion.

I'd love to feel the whole solidarity-cuz-we're-gay thing with Rosie, but I just don't. She is a funny MFer most of the time, but I really was irritated by her stance about Perez Hilton outing people (mostly defending him because of his age) and the complete disrespect to Asians. RE: the Asian thing, I think everyone is guilty for doing the whole ching chong ching thing in real life. I know I am, I'm not afraid of admitting that stereotypes make for good jokes. However, I really don't think The View is a proper conduit for racial jokes.

And you know what? Yes, people will make fun of Rosie for being a big gay dyke fat-head. I'm sorry, but is she not one? It's like saying someone is a big white jerk. Well, if it walks like a big gay dyke fat-head, etc. However, it is not Elisabitch's fault how pundits characterize her. She constantly, right or wrong, condescends to Elisabitch and treats her like a child with no common sense. Listen, I am far from a Conservative or Republican, but I expect people to treat people with respect and not turn The View into a mud slinging contest. If Rosie has a problem with how Elisabitch conducts herself on pundit interviews, she needs to be a man (lol) and confront her one on one - not with an audience of millions. There is a difference between taking NO sides versus CREATING one huge million-person-strong side. Rosie should know better and if she isn't willing to respect her frienemies, she needs to not get involved in politics.
