No Kurt didn't (and wouldn't) wear Docs, they were too machismo for his tastes. He did wear the old occasional Chuck Taylor here & there in his early days but much preferred older old skool vans & Jack Purcell tennis shoes.

Dave on the other hand wore Docs, and Krist on occasion wore Military Boots (what are they called, eh, yeah Combat Boots).

Doc Martins are super comfortable & kinda like walking on clouds but with a 12.5 shoe size they make me look like Frankenstein.

They work better in a Zoot Suit playin Ska.
