I can't say I feel bad for Gwen at all. Seriously, if she chooses to put him on her record & take him on tour and everything she's only helping to promote him. At this point if I were her, I'd say, you're off my tour. It would show that she does give a shit about what happened & isn't ok with it.
Plus, maybe she'd get some of her concert sponsors back.

Just because she's an idiot doesn't make what he did any better. She's still 14 and you still don't throw people around like that no matter how old they are.

The fact that she's 14 should give her a little leeway on the "idiot" thing. No one went unscathed at 14 years old. Parents or not, Akon is the one that went through with the action. Even if she were 18 that is taking advantage of the fact that a young girl looks up to you, and by extension would let you get away with murder because of your status. Of course, this is my whole anti-groupie stand in general.

The stuff in Trinidad happened before her tour with him. For all we know, Gwen might not have been aware with his raunchy his shows are (though she probably just didn't care since they were all 18+ shows).

Verizon also pulled out of her entire tour before she had a chance to kick him off or even react publicly and that's why I feel bad for her. I know she's helping to promote him, but I just find it rather harsh to just cancel the whole tour when Verizon/Gwen could have just kicked Akon off the bill and let the tour continue. I'm probably just being naive by assuming she would actually do something about him though. It just seems like it all happened rather quickly.
