Well, my German friend confessed to me that when she was 5 she wanted him as a birthday present. Other than that, I have never witnessed any Hoff worship at all.

anyways, maybe it was because he claimed that it was thanks to him that the wall in berlin was teared down. and maybe people believed this and thought we were very thankful or something?
