Dita knew who he was when she married him. You can't expect people to change. You gotta love them for who they already are. It's a shame when the person you love refuses to grow as a human though.

If that was her intent going into a relationship then she is completely in the wrong. But on the other hand we do go into relationships to grow and foster change within ourselves... intentionally or not.
