Article in this months Texas Monthly about the motorcycle club the Bandidos.
"The 1979 assasination of US District Judge John Wood, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. For the Wood case, more than 100 Bandidos were subpoened before a federal grand jury....eventually members of El Paso crime family, the Chagras, were convicted of hiring hit men to shoot Wood...Woods killer was Charles Harrelson, father of actor Woody Harrelson..."
Article doesn't say if the Chagras had any connection to the Bandidos, not that it matters...but I'm sure I've never heard this before. Interesting.... |
