um no...that guy does not work at all. ewan would definitely pull it off better.

its obvious hollywood is running out of movie ideas with all the sequles, re-makes, rip offs, and bio films so i'm not suprised they doing aother kurt movie. it was gonna happen sometime. i've heard a rumor of johnny depp being asked to play michael hutchence. i think ewan could to do a great job at the roles coz he's a great actor but shouldnt do it coz it would be forever compared to velvet goldmine which is in a league of its own and no matter how good or bad this kurt movie they shouldnt be in the same sentence. plus it would be really unoriginal for ewan to replay the rock star role. he's done it and kicked its ass at it, leave it at that

i just dont see anyone reallllly famous being cast in the courtney role. someone like angelina jolie just wouldnt be believable, in my opinion. However she does have similiar features to grunge-era courtney so maybe.
