| Rosie's had this coming for a looong time. She's an obnoxious, overly-opinionated bitch who thinks her two cents is worth anything more than that. I never really cared for Donald either, but that tirade against her was one of the best moments in "Pop Television" (Insider, Access Hollywood, Extra, etc) that I've seen this whole year. It was just that damn good. In the course of a month, Rosie managed to turn two people I had mild to moderate disdain for in Trump and Ripa into people I've actually given some credit to. And maybe even like to a degree. She also basically outted Clay Aiken on her show with that "blah blah that was really homophobic of Kelly Ripa" bullshit that she pulled a few weeks ago.
Also don't forget, Rosie started this shit with the personal attacks on Trump first. There's a reason why her business ventures failed. She's a complete and utter idiot. Miss USA is supposed to be a respectable and prestigious title given to women who are to be role models for the next year. It came out that she was underage drinking, doing drugs, whatever it was. It's only right that Trump has her come out and apologize to the people for her actions. He gets points for helping the girl into rehab and giving her a second chance and she gets a chance to redeem herself and restore some respect to the title. It was a wise business decision. Something that Rosie wouldn't know about, because she's a fucking idiot.
If he's going to sue her I'd assume it'd be for libel and he'd might be able to argue that crap like that (the bankrupt comments) could bring down his stock prices. So. *shrugs* I don't know.  |
