I made a Graham thread on the old (prehack) KR, I just love him. He's my favorite member of Monty Python, and he left our world far too early.
My favorite Graham moments: All of the movie "Life of Brian" ("I am not the messiah...NOW FUCK OFF"), a moron judge ("Don't be silly...how can you find the defendant 'Not Esther Williams'"), and Graham as Raymond Luxury Yacht aka Throat Wobbler Mangrove.
Raymond Luxury Yacht.
I used to be completely obsessed about Graham! I bought books, CD's and videos about him! He's awesome! Have you read A Liar's Autobiography?
YES! It's a classic. My favorite parts involve his childhood (when the plane crashed by his house during WWII) and his "partying" with a mega fucked up Keith Moon. And the "coming out party," which was daring for 1967...

I love Graham, and I find the work he did outside of Monty Python (however brief) to be far more enjoyable and more hilarious than anything any of the other cast members went on to do.
I also find him to be highly attractive in a dress.
And I thought immediately of you, emily, when I found this.
haha one of my favourite quotes : some paper asked him what he'd do with a million pounds, and he said 'give it to john cleese so he could take the afternoon off'.
too true. i always think of that when i see those orange ads, will and grace, or some such shite. not to say that their friendship/writing partnership wouldn't have been brilliant and fascinating.

Nice clip! He and Eric Idle were by default the best looking "ladies" in Monty Python. Terry Jones was always slimy looking, and John Cleese dressed up as a lady was always absolutely terrifying.
I say this with the most respect, but the speeches given at his funeral (especially from John Cleese) were the funniest things I've ever heard. You know you are loved when your friends turn your funeral into a roast!.

My favorite quote: "The worst case of party pooping ever." -From Terry Jones (Graham died the day before the 20th anniversary of Monty Python's first TV broadcast).

Love it, I had forgotten about that one!. After I posted that I some of the service on You Tube.
Do you remember a special they did a while back (I think it was a 30th anniversary thing) where all the surviving members were there? They were onstage with an urn topped by a bobbing picture of Graham, which they later spilled and cleaned up with vacuums. I remember Eddie Izzard was part of the joke.

I think Graham's partner shot some of Graham's ashes in the air with some fireworks or something. A very fitting tribute to a very silly man.
