I must say this is a dissapointing year for movies, most of those movies and performances were trully lackluster at the least.

It's not like last year where they were so many spectacular films and performances, they all deserved awards.

Anyway, lots of those movies I haven't seen but I'm very surprised by Penelope Cruz' nomination, don't get me wrong, the performance was amazing but it's a spanish film, I never thought it could be a contender for the major awards.

I hope she wins it.

and why is Borat nominated?? I don't think he is funny, at all-

probably cause he had the highest grossing comedy film this year.....they like the idea the guy made some money most likely.

I'm glad the office got a few noms and the guy from hereos. I hope he wins, he's fantastic!
