I dont think it has anything to do with Madonna eating meat or not, thats up to her. I dont eat meat or fish but I dont view someone as less of a person just because they choose to eat meat in their diet.
Its a shame that people dont view animals on the same levels as humans. In 10 years time the leatherback turtle will be wiped away and already, this year, a type of dolphin is now extinct. I know chincilla isnt an endangered animal, but the fur trade really needs to stop because killing one animal for its fur is just helping other poaches have more of a reason to kill other animals. Is it really fair to have animals raised just so humans can have a fur coat to wear? is it nice to see animals, such as tigers and leopards, breed for their fur or would it be better to allow this animal to live in its own environment without the fear of humans killing them and making it harder for them to live for generation to generation?
