| | | Lane Garrison (Tweener from Prison Break) Involved In Deadly Car Crash, Lives From Perez Hilton: Lane Garrison - "Tweener" on the hit Fox drama Prison Break - was involved in a fatal car crash in Los Angeles, early Sunday morning.
Garrison, 26, only had minor injuries, but his car - which had three teenagers - somehow struck a tree, killing a 17-year-old boy.
Two 15-year-old girls inside the vehicle were also injured, one critically.
The vehicle jumped a curb and hit a tree. Authorities were trying to determine who drove the SUV, which was registered to Garrison.
No word yet on whether Garrison was intoxicated at the time of the fatal crash, whether the teens were wearing their seatbelts or if police will slap the actor with any charges, such as manslaughter.
Garrison's rep has yet to comment on the horrific incident. |

| | Updates: Lane Garrison Driver In Fatal Crash
Law enforcement sources from the Beverly Hills Police Department tell TMZ "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison was behind the wheel when his SUV crashed into a tree, killing one of the occupants.
The accident occurred Saturday night in Beverly Hills. Sources say one of the passengers, a 15-year-old girl, was in critical condition and has a relative who works for the city of Beverly Hills. One source says the 17-year-old boy who was killed went to the local high school which is presumably Beverly Hills High.
We're told Garrison was not arrested or booked after the accident. Typically, after a "K" car crash injury -- police jargon when someone is killed -- cops will ask the driver to submit to a voluntary blood-alcohol test. Source Garrison May Have Been Drunk At Time Of Crash
TMZ now has exclusive details of the "Prison Break" star's car crash Saturday night that killed a 17-year-old boy.
According to the Beverly Hills Police, actor Lane Garrison displayed "symptoms of alcohol intoxication." We're told alcohol containers were removed from Garrison's 2001 Land Rover.
We're also told Garrison struck a center median and lost control of his SUV in Beverly Hills and ended up hitting a tree.
Two 15-year-old girls were also injured. One has been released. One is in serious condition at Cedars Sinai Hospital.
Cops say they are investigating "Mr. Garrison's impairment." Source |

| | Prison Break star lawyers up after fatal crash:
TMZ has learned that "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison has hired powerhouse defense attorney Harland Braun in connection with last Saturday's fatal car accident.
Lane was at the wheel in his Land Rover on Saturday night when it crossed a median in Beverly Hills and crashed into a tree. A 17-year-old boy sitting in the backseat was killed and two 15-year-olds were injured. Braun tells TMZ that Garrison had never met the three teenagers before the night of the accident. Braun says Garrison was at a local supermarket earlier in the evening when the trio recognized him in the checkout line and asked him if he wanted to go to a party. Braun says Garrison went to the party and had one drink. Braun says Garrison also had one margarita at a Mexican restaurant that night, but that was the extent of his alcohol consumption. Braun tells TMZ that as Garrison was leaving the party to meet a woman at his apartment, the three teens asked to accompany him. According to sources, the boy was an only child and was extremely well liked by his peers.
Braun says Garrison has no recollection of the accident, which Braun says rendered him unconscious. In fact, Braun claims Garrison's first memory was waking up at the Century City Hospital emergency room with a taxi coupon on his lap that had been given to him by hospital staff so he could get home. Braun says he was not told by hospital personnel that someone had died. He learned of the death later from a friend, Braun says, and was "totally despondent."
Braun says a sample of Garrison's blood was taken at the hospital, but it could take several weeks before the results are in. Braun says he doubts Garrison was intoxicated, but also says, "Who knows if someone put something in his drink at the party."
Braun also says Garrison's Land Rover had been experiencing alignment issues as of late and had been pulling to one side, and added that the SUV had brake problems. Braun says he is forwarding repair receipts to the police.
According to Braun, "Nobody knows what happened, it's a mystery." Source |

| | | Ok this is what i dont get. Hes 26, so why was he in a car with two 15 year old girls and a 17 year old boy (was there one more?) on saturday night around midnight. I don't think he was just giving them a lift home. If he was going home to meet a girl at his place why would he bring along some teens? I loved tweener on the show and im sad to hear this happened. but i dont think we are getting the whole story.
