The limit in The Netherlands is 0.5 promille, which would mean 1 glass of wine or 2 glasses of beer.
Driving after having 3 glasses of wine is a little inresponsible to me, I honestly wouldn't get in a car with you.
That being said, if all of this is true, if Lane brought vodka to a party filled with minors, if he did shots and got drunk, if people took pictures, WHY DID THEY GET IN THE CAR WITH HIM?!?
Why did their 27 friends let them?
That I'll never understand.
I know it is Lane's fault if this is true, but some blame is on the kids themselves for getting in the car with someone who did vodka shots, and some blame is on their 27 friends for letting them.
I once took the car keys from one of my friends who was drunk when I was a bartender.
He yelled and cursed and was furious.
The next day he came over, appologised and thanked me.
As friends you have a responsibility to each other.
So why didn't these kids take responsibility and not get in the car with him, and why didn't the 27 other people there stop them? |
yeah, teenagers or not, they should know not to get into a car with a drunk guy. but then again, if everyone was loaded, no one was thinking straight...
ahh i dunno man, this whole thing is so fucked up and sad. everyone made some really stupid mistakes, mistakes that sadly, people make EVERYDAY. they just are lucky enough to not have this happen...
i dont care how safe people think they are, not driving at all is better than taking a chance, no matter how slim the chance.
i gotta stop thinking about this whole thing, it's really depressing me.
