supposedly he was driving them back from (or to) a party they asked him to drop into, after having a drink elsewhere...? something like that..and of course the accident happend. wow, i feel so horrible for everyone involved, especially the kid's family. and lane too. i like him,he's a talented guy, he's my age, he's a writer too.. i guess i identify with him a little bit. so sad that one little (albeit it MAJOR) mistake led to this. im praying for everyone involved, it truly sucks

so yea. the story goes that these kids recognized him and asked him whether he wanted to come to this party they were going to. they went together and he supposedly had one drink and then he was gonna drop them off at home.

Our friends at Cops Online have damning new information about Prison Break star Lane Garrison's alcohol-impaired car wreck in Los Angeles, which resulted in the death of a teenage boy.

According to TMZ, Garrison was driving the SUV at the time of the accident. And, he was seen drinking heavily that evening, doing shots of vodka at a party.

Five eyewitnesses from the party tell TMZ that Garrison arrived at the party with Setian and two women, whom he had met earlier at a gas station. They say Lane brought a bottle of Grey Goose vodka to the party and unveiled the bottle to the crowd with a flourish. The gathering was described by several attendees as a "kick back of around 30 people." The eyewitnesses, all acquaintances of Setian, say that Garrison then started taking shots of the vodka and offering shots to other partygoers. Several eyewitnesses also said photographs were taken of Garrison consuming alcohol.

he's a partyer, fine whatever. most ppl are...but WHY OH WHYYY would he get into a car after all that? jesus..

i once drove after ONE drink and i was so scared, never again. i dont get how ppl drink even one drink, even ANYTHING at all, and drive. there should be a zero tolerance for asbsolutely everyone, not just under 21. i hate the idea that theres an idea out there amongst adults that it's ok in any way to get behind the wheel of a car after ANY drinking. and that's the law's fault. because, techincally its allowed to some limit. but thats way wayy too dangerous, who the fuck really knows their limit anyway? its STUPID to drink and drive, my god ppl dont take it seriously enough. AS IF there weren't enough examples out there.
