In the broadcasts, Simpson, 59, will be grilled in a "no-holds-barred interview" by Judith Regan, the publisher of his new book, "If I Did It," which hits shelves Nov. 30.
The special, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," is set to air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29 from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fox, the network said.
In a video clip on Fox's Web site, an off-screen interviewer says, "You wrote, 'I have never seen so much blood in my life.' "
"I don't think any two people could be murdered without everybody being covered in blood," Simpson replies.
Lou Brown, the father of murder victim Nicole Brown Simpson, said he wasn't shocked to hear his ex-son-in-law was exploiting the tragedy. "I gave up on him many years ago," Brown, 83, told the Daily News yesterday.
As for Simpson's book title, Brown said he has "absolutely no doubt" Simpson killed his daughter. And from Jossip: While Fox may be retooling its working title for the O.J. Simpson special, we hear Life & Style is about to break some more news: That O.J. does, in fact, read from his book on-air. In the two-part interview series airing Nov. 27 and 29, O.J. initially refuses to recite his passages.
In a revealing two-part TV interview, set to air on FOX on Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, O.J., 59, discusses the book openly, an insider tells Life & Style exclusively.
But when he’s asked to read aloud a chapter from the book titled “The Night in Question,” which chronicles a hypothetical re-creation of the murder, he breaks into tears. “I can’t do this,” he says. “I can’t have my kids hear me say this.”
Says the insider, “He sounds like he’s confessing.”
Now we're told that L&S reports in its upcoming issue that O.J. worked the emotional factor as long as he could before going right ahead and telling how, exactly, he would have sliced his way through Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. You know, had it happened.
So he CAN write this shit down, but WON'T read it out loud because it would hurt his kids. (which he later does anyway)
Great dude, make sure they never DO read it.
He should have just called the book "I'm a broke murderer, wanna give me some of your hard earned cash?".
This is disgusting. | This really grossed me out last night. It was featured on Anderson Cooper and while I wish I could say there is something productive coming from this, I just can't. Not only is it in poor taste but it SCREAMS "I need money for hookers and booze."
Someone needs to cut his ass.
