She absolutely hated it and glared at me the whole time on the ride home, because I made her see it. I kind of wish they'd used different actors myself. I thought Jeremy Irons would have been more appropriate than Tom Cruise. Plus, the sex scenes were about as sexy as warm vomit.

He may just be covering his arse. He probably shouldn't have made it at all. But I have to admit, the film could definitely be improved with better casting. It was crying out for James Spader.

But instead he went for celeb-tastic stunt casting. One day someone should attempt an evening of watching the unholy triumvirate of Days of Thunder, Far and Away and Eyes Wide Shut. Can you do that and still live?

At least Nicole was alright in the movie. I just thought Mr. Risky Business in a Kubrick film seemed woefully out of character.
