It's hard to believe Edward Norton went out with someone like Courtney Love. Not because she's a crazy drug guzzling mess I'm just talking personality wise. Edward seems so shy and reserved and I just couldn't understand him going out with Courtney Love who is a very over the top and loud and a bad ass rocker chick. It's just hard to picture them hanging out together let alone dating. What would a conversation go like? Wouldn't she get bored? And wouldn't he be freaked out by her? Is Edward really that shy? Or is he just that way to the public because he's extremely private?

Opposites attract, like the person above said. But I also get the impression that she calmed down somewhat while with him.

He's a Yale grad raised by a lawyer and a teacher...a great stage and film actor who has impressed the likes of Edward Albee...so I doubt she'd ever get bored by their conversations. And he gave her some stability in her life that she really needed. No wonder she regrets losing him.

I think ed norton seems a bit like Johnny Depp

the kinda guys that seem to have a much stronger persona on screen than in real life(who are both terrific actors. my two favourites infact)..but that are both very intelligent.

and johnny depp dated winona and kate moss, who are both pretty wild.
