I don't think it's basque, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get the gist of it, and I speak castellano spanish. Of course, I could be ignorant and mistaken, so correct me if I am wrong. De Euskadi, alguno?

Basque has no relation to Spanish at all, or indeed any other language, so surely you wouldn't be able to really pick up any of it at all if it was, save for imported words.

To whit:

1980ko hamarkadatik aurrera, erakunde mailako onarpena lortu zuen, lurralde zatiketa handiekin bada ere. Gernikako Estatutuak euskara Euskadiren berezko hizkuntza izendatu eta hizkuntza koofiziala izendatu zuen gaztelerarekin batera Araba, Bizkaia eta Gipuzkoan (Trebiñuko Konderrian eta Turtzioz-Billaberden izan ezik). Nafarroa Garaian, Euskararen Legearen eraginez, euskara herrialdearen iparmendebaldean (Eremu euskalduna) soilik da koofiziala. Iruñean eta erdialdeko beste hiri garrantzitsuetan (Eremu mistoa), euskarak onarpen maila txikiagoa eta traba handiagoak ditu. Nafarroa hegoaldean (Eremu ez-euskalduna), berriz, euskara ez dago onartua. Ipar Euskal Herriari dagokionez, euskarak ez du onarpen instituzionalik, frantsesa hizkuntza ofizial bakarra izanik.

Fucking hell. No wonder they're angry.

You'd better not be saying that about the Basques - they're fucking vicious!

Yeah, it's Basque. Otherwise known as Euskara (to the natives, anyway).
