Last year I got my mom some nice makeup from Sephora. Basic things like nice eyeliner, blush, lipgloss, etc. I made a little package out of it. She liked it.

im making my mother a shadowbox to hang in the living room with a little white dress from when i was an infant.
you could do it with baby shoes too if you have em, that would be sweet too. add a baby picture of yourself with your mom wearing the item, and shell totally cry.

Thats always my aim, for birthdays, christmas, mothers day the aim is always to give hr something so sentimental she'll cry...only thing is she never cries. I did it this year though, I bought her a card and wrote this huge message pouring my heart out to her. In the past I've bought her a really posh photo album and filled it with photos of me, my brother and her. Flowers work as a bonus. How about clothes too, a nice jacket or something?

a couple years ago i "adopted" a tiger from the world wildlife fund for my mom for mothers day. She loves tigers. And the money went to something we both want to help protect.

I was going to suggest Grunge Dust's idea about the makeup.
Another idea is a gift certificate for some type of treatment at a spa. There's no way your mom wouldn't like a nice massage or a facial!

HHmm....Sephora eh? Idunno if I like my mom that much!!

I-keed I-keed!!

I usually drop a few hundred on myself in there.....though I do like this idea...........maybe....maybe.............

My mom just lost her 3rd and last sibling to cancer....so I'll prolly go really special this year....something personal for her would be nice.
