i can deal with the look of ankle booties with those jeans but please promise me you will not wear them with a dress or skirt or shorts or anything non-pant. that's the look i can't stand more than the booties themselves.

i plan to only wear them with skinny/straight pants. i'm too tall to wear heels, and they look too fancy/try to hard, on me.. but my frye boots are knee-high and with skinny pants, cut me off at the knee in a weird VERY thigh-enhancing way. so short boots were the best compromise.
i would have picked something more like a short boot than a bootie, but these were super well made and super cheap and there. so i went for it.

at least they aren't peep toe booties.

ugh yes, those are definitely worse. wear a ****ing sandal or a boot. the hybrid model is fug.

i saw some girl in my work building wearing tall knee high boots...with a peep toe. it was absolutely heinous.

Not fashion and not really a purchase because it was a present but.....
