You can't barely even see the needle from a tattoo gun. I despise needles but I like tattoos. It feels more like a scratching hot pain like scraping your skin with a razor slowly than a spikey into the flesh like a needle. I am also allergic to alot of things and had no reaction to the ink.

I totally agree, plus if you're unsure about the allery thing you can ask for a small test: he puts a small amount of ink and you see what happens!
I'm allergic to almost everthing and i have an extremely delicate and sensitive skin, but i felt no pain and apparently i'm not allergic to ink!

as people already said, you can't really see the needle and especially if it's on your heel you won't be able to see it.

if you're really concered about the allergies you have, go in and have a big chat with the tattooist. i personally have got very sensitive skin and i've had no problems with any of my tattoos.

SchoolForMaps is an unknown quantity at this point
For me, getting a tattoo wasn't really all that similar to getting a needle. As *Band Aid* said, if you're concerned about allergic reactions to the ink, you should go in and talk to the tattoo artist before having it done. Good luck!
