There's some good places in East Village. You should have a look on 2nd avenue between St Mark Place and Houston St. you really should take a walk there. I don't remember their name but you'll find >>> East Village is a village :-)

i'm taking some pix of the crossed out 'hole' heart to a tattoo place tomorrow. i'm so nervous. even though i won't have enough money for them to actually do it tomorrow, i'm scared they'll say, "no, we won't do that. it's too scribbly." lol. i'm just gonna see what they say about it.
