| |  I Love Gloves!
since it's gotten cold, i brought out my lovely gloves.
i was given several pair from a man at a yard sale, i think it had belonged to his dead wife/g/f. he was crying. two pair have pearls & from the '70's-'60's or earlier. all are really cute, i have 6 pairs. i feel lucky to have them!
. i wish i had a camera, my cat is laying on top of red lace fingerless lace gloves (i've never worn - i swear!) in red & blk, midnight blue, fishnet fingerless arm coverings in red & blk. lotsa blk lace & fishnet.
when it's cold, i put on my blk cotton gloves under my nice ones, depending on the situation. like how cold it is.

| | | Angel Dust, this is totally random but the fact you mentioned the gloves were from the 70's that reminded me of a str8 porno film I once saw entitled "Glove Love Foursome". It was the weirdest thing ever but obviously designed for people who fetishised gloves above everything else.
Aside from that, well done on acquiring the gloves, they do sound nice!
It's FREEZING here at the moment and I have a pair of gloves that are practical and comfy beyond belief. I have a friend who works as a traffic warden and, as standard issue, are given these gloves that keep your hands warm in even the iciest of conditions. He managed to get me a pair and they are phenomenal. You'd think the gloves would be bulky but they're in fact quite thin and as a result leaves your hands free to do virtually everything. Usually gloves have to be bulky & clumsy in order to generate warmth - not this pair!

Maybe I'm superstitious?
I need gloves in the Winter or else I'm just GONE. Last year I wore gloves well into April and started again in September. I think my circulation has improved somewhat since then, though. Damn my bony Raynauds-afflicted hands.
I nicked my sister's gloves. I think they're from NEXT. They're black wool with little fake diamantes on the cuffs. Nice and warm!
My other gloves are red and were got in a 2 for €5 deal in Claire's Accessories  They fit like a dream but aren't very warm.
I'd love one of those cool comfy pairs from Accessorize which look like they'd last forever  |
